Hatem Elgenedy is an Egyptian composer based in Los Angeles. He specializes in music composition, sound design, foley and sound editing for visual media, including movies, video games, music videos, and other projects.

A composer and performer since childhood, Hatem has toured the United States, Europe and the Middle East, singing opera and lending his immense talents as a pianist and violinist. He has sung opera with some of the most famous orchestras and opera houses, such as the Warsaw Philharmonic Orchestra, Opera Dubai, the Cairo Opera House, as well as sang in one of the biggest opera festivals in Europe: Savonlinna Opera Festal in Finland.  

After winning a full scholarship to study with famed bass baritone, Tom Kruas, Hatem moved to Colorado where he enrolled in Colorado State University at Boulder.

Hatem Elgenedy has composed music scores, sound design, foley and edited dialogue for shorts, trailers, commercials, featurettes, and more, including music for Sitter  (comedy-short), Contract (action-short),   What Future (sci-fi short), Miskatonic West  (horror sci-fi web series), featurette  Through The Woods , and others.

 His awards include:
- Certificate of Recognition by the City of Los Angeles, California -piano performance at the Adult Skills Center Annual Gala (August, 2016).

- “Best Horror Film” at the International Burbank Film Festival for Through the Woods.

- “Best soundtrack” at 48 Hour Film Festival at Minnesota State University at Moorhead for Final Transmission.
